“Snippet“–The error message
We almost use computers and phones every day. Sometimes, we see error messages pop up. We often ignore them, or click them very fast.
In some extent, They are also a kind of dialogue between the system and the users(like system talk to us).
But this kind of dialogue is not equal. Sometimes, we have no real choice. We can only accept, wait, or follow what the system tells us.
So I use error messages as traces of this unequal dialogue, and turn them into a new visual and narrative system to explore human-computer relationships.I collected 100 error messages and used iterative experiments to reveal this imbalance in communication.
